Complementary Fitness 10 February news

Schools are on holiday this week and our classes are ON too so come and work out with us in as many cases as you can.

Exercise is good for us in many ways including heart health, our mood, great for our joints, muscles and balancing our hormones.  Exercise can help us keep in shape and we can sweat out toxins so keep active and keep moving.

I read a recent fitness article in Dr Mercola’s website about the benefits of yoga on brain health saying that “yoga — which is suitable for most people, regardless of age or fitness level — has been shown to support healthy brain function and stave off neurological decline.

Oh I’m soooo glad we’re back in Craiglockhart church hall again this week.  Phew!  You’ll know that if you were at our class last week in Waterside SC, then by the time the slimmers and the last of the leaders eventually left, it was 8.05/8/15pm!  It was a joke (not very funny though).  We did actually start our class while one of the slimmers was still being weighed (around 7.45pm when the class was supposed to finish at 7.30pm)  and I’m sure that they weren’t very ...

You’ll see on the Classes page of my website that on Tuesday 14 Jan, our 7.30pm Fitness Pilates class is in Waterside Social Club, 26 Inglis Green Road.

Waterside Social Club is on the left side where the entrance to Sainsbury’s car park is. 

If driving, park in Sainsbury’s car park for the hour.  

It was the only venue at the time that was available and I’m sure it’ll be fine.

Happy New Year to you and I really hope that it’s going to be ‘the best ever’ – full of excitement, possibilities, opportunities, achievements, good health, lots of fitness, fun and laughs with good friends so every best wish for everything that’s great and coming your way.

For us, we can’t wait for the birth of our second grandchild at the end of Feb/beginning of March – woo hoo, not long now.

I hope that you had a very merry Christmas, enjoyed all the fun and relaxed too. 

There’s always such a lot of pre-planning, work and stuff to do but it’s all worth it to see everyone and celebrate together.

We finished up on Fri 13 December so there are no classes now till 7 Jan but want to thank you for being part of our Complementary Fitness team and coming to, and taking part in our classes this year; it wouldn’t have been the same without you.
