Wow, into the 2nd month of the year already!

Most schools should be finishing up on Friday for a week but … just to let you know that all of our classes are still ON in the holidays so looking forward to seeing you if you can make it.

I read a recent fitness article in Dr Mercola’s website about the benefits of yoga on brain health saying that “yoga — which is suitable for most people, regardless of age or fitness level — has been shown to support healthy brain function and stave off neurological decline.

Complementary Fitness 20 Jan news + updates

Oh I’m soooo glad we’re back in Craiglockhart church hall again this week.  Phew!  You’ll know that if you were at our class last week in Waterside SC, then by the time the slimmers and the last of the leaders eventually left, it was 8.05/8/15pm!  It was a joke (not very funny though).  We did actually start our class while one of the slimmers was still being weighed (around 7.45pm when the class was supposed to finish at 7.30pm)  and I’m sure that they weren’t very ...

You’ll see on the Classes page of my website that on Tuesday 14 Jan, our 7.30pm Fitness Pilates class is in Waterside Social Club, 26 Inglis Green Road.

Waterside Social Club is on the left side where the entrance to Sainsbury’s car park is. 

If driving, park in Sainsbury’s car park for the hour.  

It was the only venue at the time that was available and I’m sure it’ll be fine.

I hope that you had a very merry Christmas, enjoyed all the fun and relaxed too. 

There’s always such a lot of pre-planning, work and stuff to do but it’s all worth it to see everyone and celebrate together.

We finished up on Fri 13 December so there are no classes now till 7 Jan but want to thank you for being part of our Complementary Fitness team and coming to, and taking part in our classes this year; it wouldn’t have been the same without you.

I’m looking forward to seeing you in our classes this week as above and you’ll notice (or know that) our December Tuesday 7.30pm and Thursday 7pm classes are candlelight classes (for the last 20 minutes of each class so please bring your tea lights and holders and something warm to keep cozy when relaxing and stretching on the floor).

We’ve got this week of all classes ‘as normal’ then another 2 weeks and finish up on Friday 13 December.  As I mentioned last week though, because of the General Election on Thurs 12 Dec, there’s no class that night but again, please try to come to another class that week if you normally come to our Thursday class.
