WEDNESDAYS 9.30 am RESISTANCE/BODY CONDITIONING/CORE WORKOUT

THURSDAYS 6.35pm FREESTYLE FITNESS YOGA

THURSDAYS 7.30pm FITNESS PILATES

FRIDAY 9.30 am FREESTYLE FITNESS YOGA

Class costs: £5 each /
£29 for each 6 week block of Tue or Thurs Fitness Pilates classes (guarantees place + saves time) /
£8 for both Thursday Yoga/Pilates classes /
£45 for ALL classes in a month.

Also if you need clearance from your GP, physio, osteopath etc before attending any class, please get their permission (written if necessary) first, thank you.

Did you know that…
February is statistically the coldest month of the year and it is important to wrap up warm and protect your hands and feet. 1-27 Feb is Raynaud’s Awareness Month and their slogan is “Love Your Gloves”.

Fairtrade Fortnight is 29 Feb – 13 March so this is just to give you the heads up to get involved, look out for and buy Fairtrade products. There are over 4,500 Fairtrade products to buy eg bananas, chocolate, coffee, beauty products, flowers, tea and more. Just look out for the Fairtrade mark.
I’ve gone for some of the benefits of chocolate as an example (wonder why I picked on chocolate rather than anything else as an example? hmm)

Something to think about:
This is week 1 of a brand new 6 week block of Fitness Pilates classes on Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm.
It would be great if you can email me to book your place, pay your £29 for the 6 classes as this saves time each week paying your £5 and waiting for change etc. It means too that your place is guaranteed.
However, there are always spaces and I know that it’s hard to commit to a class each week because of family/work commitments. If you find that you can’t make one of your regular Tuesday nights, join us on a Thursday evening in that block instead. You can of course come along, pay your fiver (or £8 if you participate and work out in our 6.35pm Freestyle Fitness Yoga class and 7.30pm Fitness Pilates classes on Thursdays).

I know that this week is the ‘School Holidays’ and Edinburgh schools are off for the week and some other schools (eg West Lothian I think) are off for just a couple of days. However, we’re not taking a break this week – ALL THE CLASSES ARE ON – woo hoo, come and join us and take the challenge of participating in as many classes as you can this week/month.

If you haven’t been to our classes in a couple of weeks (or longer), you are very welcome to come back and join us – we miss you and can’t wait to work out with you again.

Oh – did you do your ‘homework’ last week? ie that mat-based yoga sequence video I put in last week’s Fitness Newsletter. If not, have a look, join in, practice and you’ll get it/you’ll improve.
There are also lots of other short videos on my youtube channel (see below) from warm ups, Fitness Yoga, Fitness Pilates, resistance band/weights training and stretches etc.
