Hi and Welcome to this week’s Complementary Fitness Newsletter
The weeks are rolling on in and it’s week 5 in our 6 week block of classes!
We’ll then have 3 weeks of classes pre-Christmas from 27/11 – 14/12. Come and join our classes, work out with us if you want to improve your fitness, health and feel better and have more energy.
All classes are for men and women and you’re welcome to join us. Details are updated on the Classes page.

Did you know?
– that our pre-Christmas Fitness Lunch is on Monday 10 December 1pm in David Bann’s Vegetarian Restaurant, St Mary’s Street www.davidbanns.com Let me know if you’d like to join us – everyone welcome to join us if you regularly attend our fitness classes.
– Complementary Fitness also has a monthly payment plan for ALL classes during any month. Let me know if you’re interested in this and you can then attend as many classes as you can/as you like.
December’s 2 weeks of classes = £25 for 10 classes – bargain!
Something to think about
Forgive them even if they’re not sorry. Holding on to anger only hurts you, not them.
Don’t let your struggle become your identity.
Sometimes you have to do what’s best for you and your life – not what’s best for everybody else.
Every struggle in your life has shaped you into the person you are today. Be thankful for the hard times: they have made you stronger.
Running away from any problem only increases the distance from the solution. The easiest way to escape from the problem is to solve it.
Health & Lifestyle
To up your iron, beta carotene and calcium intake, include spirulina in your diet. Add ½ – 1 teasp of spirulina powder to your daily smoothie.
Good vegan sources of iron: green vegetables, cherries, raisins, molasses. Iron is used to help the body absorb oxygen into the blood – @rawfoodbliss
Acidosis is often the first sign of imbalance in the body and can set you up for dis-ease later. Alkaline-forming foods alkalize the body so eat lots of fresh (organic if possible) raw veg.
Benefits of Exercise:
Exercise controls weight – Exercise can help prevent excess weight gain or help maintain weight loss. When you engage in physical activity, you burn calories. The more intense the activity, the more calories you burn.
Exercise combats health conditions and diseases – it decreases your risk of cardiovascular disease, stroke, diabetes and more.
Exercise improves your mood – physical activity stimulates various brain chemicals that may leave you feeling happier and more relaxed.

Email me and let me know why YOU come to classes, why you exercise, how it makes you feel. Some people say they don’t like exercising but do it anyway because “they should” or they’ve been told to include more exercise to improve their health and lifestyle.
