HEALTH and LIFESTYLE

How did you get on last week in our classes? I hope that you enjoyed the new music mixes, exercises, sequences and catching up with everyone.
How were your muscles a couple of days after your class? Were they complaining and letting you know that they’d been worked? Mine were especially on Thursday!!!
Are you up for more of the same – hopefully without the muscle soreness? Yeah?, it’ll be great to see you.
Come and join us in as many classes as you can.
Stay ‘on track’ with your fitness to improve your strength, posture, flexibility, co-ordination and continue to tone up with us in our classes.
If you couldn’t make it last week, I look forward to seeing you this week and each week from now on.
Let’s do this, keep going, stay on track, stay focussed, improve, achieve, reduce stress, body fat and have more fun too. Sounds good to me.

What’s not to love about exercise? Make it a daily/weekly part of what you do. Schedule in your classes and workouts like you would for regular hair or nail appointments, or your daily/weekly trips out for coffee or lunch or shopping. Make our classes/workouts a regular habit and before you know it, you’ll be well on your way to health, fitness, happiness and will be enjoying nutritious healthy eating.

Something to think about:
Keep Going – you’re about to make a big breakthrough in your life, you’ll get there, have faith, don’t give up, it may seem hard sometimes but persist, stay on track, summon up your strength and determination – you’ll get there.

Don’t waste your time hating a failure. Failure is a greater teacher than success – Dr Clarissa Estes

“Let food by thy medicine and medicine be thy food” – Hippocrates

Food Additives and Hyperactivity in Children – (H.A.C.S.G Database at Surrey University)
89% affected by artificial colours, 71% affected by artificial flavours, 71% affected by preservatives, 59% affected by MSG

1. Be kind to your body 2. Practice acceptance 3. Meditate 4. Be grateful 5. Take control

January Fitness Lunch – would you like to come to our January Fitness Lunch on Friday 30 Jan? Let’s get something booked up soon ie the venue. Get back to me if you’d like to join us and suggestions of where. I’m thinking possibly Café Andaluz in George St, Howies, Double Trees by Hilton (used to be Point Hotel) in Bread Street or …. somewhere else.

Did you know that
Nicola (NicolaCFitness.com) put a post on Facebook about her Insanity class which says:
“Most people will not reach their workout goals. You are not most people”. Well done and thank you to you if you came to Nicola’s class last Thursday. I hope that you can make it this Thursday too – see you there? Work to your own ability, do the options/variations when necessary, take your time, do what you can (that’s what I do/try to). I know it’s hard but it’s like anything…. you improve, you get better.

Nicola’s Insanity class is also back on track on Thursdays 6.30pm in Dreghorn Loan Hall.
It’s a high intensity interval training class and it’s on for 45 minutes.
Bring a mat and some water and prepare to work as hard as you can (you don’t have to keep up with anyone else and there are alternatives which Nicola demonstrates too). The class is only £4 and it’ll really fire up your metabolism and get you in shape, fitter and stronger.

Nicola’s 30 minute Metafit class is on this Saturdays in the Meadows 9.15am. Let me know if you’d like to join us or meet us at Stay Central Hotel, Cowgate at 8.55/9am or Peter’s Yard, Meadows at 9.10am.
Everyone (16+ and non-pregnancy) welcome in both classes.
