HEALTH and LIFESTYLE
Did you know that…
I’d still like to know what your lifestyle and fitness goals are. Let me know if you’re planning any races, events or if you want to achieve a goal, want to improve your lifestyle/diet and want to get fitter this year.
Maybe you’ve got a big birthday coming up or a wedding that you’re going to.
Let me know and we can work towards your fitness and lifestyle goals together.
If you want to get what you truly desire, keep writing about it. As you continue to write, you’ll become clearer and more specific about what you want and how to go about creating and achieving it.
You don’t have to be great to start. But you have to start to be great. So true!
I read this the other day and thought I’d share it with you: “make yourself a priority once in a while. It’s not selfish. It’s necessary”. D Wolfe
Something to think about:
Everyone exercising with us needs to fill out and bring completed PAR-Q Screening Form and Lifestyle Questionnaire – these can be downloaded from my website. So if you’re new to our classes or know that you’ve never filled in and given me these forms, please do that this week/soon. Also, remember to update me (or your forms) of any relevant or updated information thanks. Remember that everything that you write/tell me is in confidence.
Let me know if you’d like me to reserve your place in our Tuesday and/or Thursday Fitness Pilates or Fitness Yoga classes, just email me (details below).
Our Wednesday & Friday 9.30am classes are drop in, no need to book.
Bring a yoga mat and water to classes along with your enthusiasm and energy.
‘Dry January’ – I know a lot of people say this, and I certainly do, but I really don’t drink much (alcohol that is). I do like a glass (sometimes two but definitely no more) of organic red wine. I try to buy/drink organic and/or natural wines because they have less sulphites and preservatives in them. I find that if I have a glass or 2 of ‘normal/supermarket’ wine, the preservatives and other properties in there don’t seem to agree with me. So as I say, I like more ‘natural’ wine. A bottle of wine can last me a couple of weeks, sometimes longer but I found that over the Christmas holidays, because I was ‘off’ for those 3 weeks, that I had wine more frequently. As I say, I never have more than 2 glasses and even when I do have wine, I get to sleep but then am awake for ages during the night!! Oh no, I need my sleep. I’ve certainly found that as I’ve decided to participate in ‘Dry January’, I’ve slept a lot better, more soundly and for longer. I hope that my commitment lasts right through January – you never know!! How about you?
