Did you know that…
In Fitness Pilates, we talk about having an imaginary corset or thick belt on and it being pulled in round our waist but we should be thinking of not just of just ‘pulling in or bracing your abs’ but ALL the way round like a cylinder! Connective tissue attaches from your rib cage to your pelvis, not just at the front of the body but sides and back too and it’s this area that we want to keep braced and strong during Fitness Pilates.

Beetroots are immune boosting, have anti-cancer properties and are rich in minerals.
You can juice raw beetroot too, here’s a simple recipe that I love from FMTV:
Juice: 1 beetroot, 1 carrot, 2 sticks celery, ½ unwaxed lemon, 1 apple + a small slice ginger.
New research has confirmed that regular consumption of beetroot juice increases endurance.
Exercisers who drank beetroot juice for 15 days had lower blood pressure and more dilated blood vessels at rest and during exercise, all thanks to the nitrates in beets. from healthy
