UPDATES AND INFO
I want to apologise again for having to, at short notice, cancel my classes on Fri 13 Oct and all classes last week. As you may know, we’ve been looking after and staying with my mum for the last few weeks because she was so ill. Just to let you know that my mum passed away on Tuesday 11pm while we were there and although very sad, she’s no longer in pain or suffering. Since then, we’ve been making all the necessary arrangements etc and her funeral is on Friday afternoon.
I want to thank you all for the emails, letters, phone calls etc I’ve received and all your love, support and kindness – it’s really meant so much and helped me/us, thank you.
ALL CLASSES ARE ON THIS WEEK and I’d be happy if you can join us and grateful if you can let others know too, thanks.
I feel I need/want to get back to teaching all classes this week as I need the distraction and to focus on that and hope you’ll join me, even on Friday morning. All my energy and mind have been focused on caring for my mum and I’m glad that I/we were there for her and I know that she appreciated it and it was nice to spend a lot more time with her.
On a different note: including this week, there are 8 weeks of Complementary Fitness classes to take part in this year so plenty of time to start on your fitness journey, to get fit, stay fit and strong and improve.
Oh and …. as it’s almost Halloween, if you fancy, please bring a pumpkin or a butternut squash, you can choose the size and weight! on Wednesday 9.30am and we can work out with that as a weight. After that, use it to make soup, roasted slices of squash or pumpkin, add into stews (there are loads of recipes ‘out there’) or carve and add a tea light etc.
On Wednesday, you might also want to wear any appropriate Halloween clothing for fun too.
