Did you know that…

It’s the day after we took part in the Men’s Health Survival of the Fittest challenge. It was a hilly 12k course with 50 obstacles (I thought it was 10k and 10 obstacles) that were challenging, to say the least!! but…. I am still upright, still breathing and still standing. Initially there were 10 in our team but some dropped out so we had 5 in our Fantastic 5 Team. We were in the 2nd wave and set off for the challenge/s. So many people took part, all ages and abilities. We didn’t take a note of the time that it took us to complete the challenge because we had to wait to get over some obstacles, ran, stopped to wait our turn to get u and over or through obstacles and helped others get over etc. I/we did most of the obstacles although I couldn’t/didn’t do the monkey rings or climbing up and down a rope as I don’t have great upper body strength and have had shoulder issues in the past.
I loved the water slide and travelator challenge though as well as commando crawling under nets.
We got a medal at the end and a goody bag although it was full of stuff more suited to the guys!!

Eat a rainbow of colours to get more variety in your diet, as well as vitamins and minerals.
