Something to think about
5 tips for optimal carb intake when trying to lose fat which are:
Don’t eat refined grains, Avoid whole wheat and corn, Eat foods that improve insulin sensitivity with higher carb foods, Eliminate all liquid carbs – especially “recovery” drinks, and Eat the right carbs at the right times.

We choose to eat the foods that result in the problems that we develop in life – why not choose to eat foods that maximise our health?
So much of the health care costs that the system is burdened with now, have been totally preventative: it’s been sound nutrition, stress reduction, daily exercise or movement – these are the things that have been shown to make a change.
Stay focussed and do more Fitness Pilates and yoga 🙂
The most immediate changes that we can make to eating a healthier diet to improve our health is to start by making ½ of every plate of food that you consume be of vegetables and salads as well as some fruits.
Eat more fruit and vegetables, eat less meat, less dairy, cut a lot of the refined flours and sweeteners out of your diet completely because they undermine our health as much as any other dietary factor.

that on Fridays, on Platform 2 Waverley Station, between 11am and 7pm, there will be a market featuring local produce, crafts from local designers, ethically sourced gifts and hot and cold food. The market is going to showcase the amazing products and services that local businesses with a conscience have to offer.

Wed & Fri 9.30am and Tuesdays + Thurs 7.30pm from 15 July – 22 Aug.
Oops, I forgot to mention in the last 2 Newsletters but we’ll also have a 6 week Fitness Pilates block over summer on Tuesdays 7.30pm in Craiglockhart Parish Church.
So just to confirm during these 6 weeks – Classes in Dreghorn Loan Hall are Wed & Fri 9.30am and Thursdays 7.30pm as well as Tuesday 7.30pm class in Craiglockhart Church.

Have you noticed that your abs, arms, legs and glutes (buttocks) are firmer and more toned?
I hope that you’re still planning to come to all/most of our classes in the next few weeks and over our 6 week block of summer classes too so that we stay in shape and feel great.
