Hi and Welcome to this Complementary Fitness Newsletter
It’s a brand new exciting week of fitness + exercise classes – come and join in.
All classes are for men and women and details on the Classes page.

I’m taking bookings for the brand new 6 week block courses of Functional Active Fitness Pilates Classes starting next week on Tuesdays at 7.30 pm and/or Thursdays 7 or 8pm.
Cost only £39 for each 6 week block or you can turn up and PAYG £8 per class.

Remember that you can also pay £49 per month for ALL classes (did you know? there are 21 classes in April including 2 classes on a Thursday).

Health & Lifestyle
I was at a lecture by Jan de Vries one night last week and he talked about Health and getting the balance right in our lives. He gave the analogy of the body as a house and said the 3 sides of the roof were the emotional, mental and physical body. That the pillars of the house were, firstly and most importantly, Nutrition. He spoke about the importance of getting acid-alkaline balance right, having the best quality food, eating the right food to build and repair the body and cells and to have a good immune system to fight infection, viruses, bacteria etc. He said that the reason why there are so many allergies these days is because of the poor quality of food (fast, convenient foods, pesticide, herbicide sprays used, preservatives etc).
Other important pillars were of good Digestion, Elimination, Circulation then Rest, Relaxation and Exercise.
He emphasised that breathing is so important and getting enough oxygen in. All of these create balance, harmony as well as having a positive outlook and reducing your negative stress.

– that if you have lots of fresh herbs left over, you can fill an ice cube tray with herbs and extra virgin olive oil and freeze them until you need them again.
