Email me to book and reserve your place in Tue/Thurs classes or drop in to our Wed + Fri classes.

Relax in a warm bath with 2 cups of Epsom salt or Himalayan Bath Salt Crystals, ½ cup of raw apple cider vinegar, ¼ cup of baking soda and lavender

If you still want to work out over the festive period (and beyond), I’d encourage and recommend that you go along and take part in these FREE sessions which are led by my daughter Nicola. Nicola has recently qualified as a Fitness Instructor and is leading a Running Club on a Wednesday at 6.30pm and an Urban Gym Workout on Saturday mornings at 9am. Go along to Stay Central Hotel, (in the courtyard of the Three Sisters Hotel), Cowgate. The sessions are for an hour and are FREE and a great way to stay fit and workout outdoors too.

Something to think about
Worry is a misuse of imagination (@IPE)

Success is a state of mind. If you want success, start thinking of yourself as a SUCCESS – (Dr Joyce Brothers)

What are your goals and aspirations for the rest of 2013 and into 2014.
What do you really want to have, do, become and achieve if you knew you couldn’t fail?

Share your thoughts and ideas with me, I’d love to know.

Keeping them in a paper bag with an apple, banana, or pear will speed up the ripening process even more.

Healthy Recipe
‘Nutella’ caramel macaroons (raw and vegan and using home made nutella spread) –

Raw chocolate hazelnut spread aka healthy nutella:
1.5 cups hazelnuts, 7 tablespoons of cacao powder, 8 medjool dates, 2/3 cup water/nut milk, pinch of sea salt, 2 tablesps coconut oil, 2/3 tsp vanilla extract. First blend the hazelnuts till the consistency of a nut butter then add the rest of the ingredients till it forms a thick chocolate spread.

5 tablespoons raw chocolate nutella spread, 5 soft dates, 1 cup shredded/dessicated coconut – mix together till they form truffle shapes.

I can’t wait to try making these (and eating them) this week while I’m off.

Thank You’s:
Firstly, thank you for being part of the Complementary Fitness team and coming to and working out in my classes this year (and previous years). I hope that you’ll continue to work out with us – it wouldn’t be the same without you.

Secondly, thanks to everyone who booked up and came to our Fitness Lunch last Monday – we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Great food/service and a lovely central venue. Thanks for my lunch too – I’m so lucky.

And – I wish you and your family a very merry Christmas and a very healthy and happy New Year too.
I look forward to seeing you back in our classes the week of 7 January 2014. x
