Claims on coconut milk and Alzheimer’s looks promising. It’s a big claim about reversal but a study in the journal Neurobiology of Aging adds to the evidence: “Perhaps you already know about the numerous health benefits of coconut oil …..” but this is new; “One daily serving of the medium chain triglycerides aka ‘healthy fats’ can start to repair slow neural pathways and improve cognitive functioning and memory” suggesting improvements in all people, seniors and some benefit (prevention and reversal) to those with Alzheimer’s.

Top Tip: if you sit for prolonged periods of more than 2 hours (eg at your desk/office), or lead a sedentary lifestyle, you should ideally get up and walk around every 30 minutes for a few minutes. This will be beneficial for your posture, circulation and will keep muscles active which can provide support to your joints.

      My three goals are

      1 To keep increasing my fitness to ensure I complete the Moonwalk on 7 June

      2 Try to be more positive about things I do not like for instance Monday mornings going back to work

      3 Not to eat too many chocolate eggs this Easter as that will not help goal number 1
