Join our Edinburgh Fitness Pilates, Fitness Yoga & Resistance/Conditioning Core classes to help you improve, your fitness, strength, stamina, core, posture and flexibility.

Did you know that…
It’s week 6 of our current Fitness Pilates classes in this block and I hope that you’ll come and join us and take part so that we can continue to improve our fitness and strength. However, there are ‘extra’ classes too, classes that are not part of ‘a block’. After this week, we’ve actually still got 2 Tuesday Fitness Pilates classes in Craiglockhart Church Hall: on 21 and 28 June and we have our 6.35pm Fitness Yoga and our 7.30pm Fitness Pilates class on Thurs 23 June which will be in The Dell Room, Colinton Parish Church (not Dreghorn Loan Hall – coz of the EU Referendum).
We also have our 9.30am toning/resistance band class on Wednesday 29 June.

All classes are for men and women, all ages (16+) and abilities (there are variations and options to make the exercise or stretches easier or more challenging).
So after our class on 29 June, we’ll be having a short break then our Summer classes start on Tuesday 12 July.
We’ll have 6 weeks of classes in our Summer term: from Tue 12 July – Fri 19 August so put the dates in your diary/phone and join us as much as you can.

In our Fitness Pilates July & August classes, we usually do more stretching and relaxation too.

On Saturday 18 June, Tiphereth are having their Summer Fair from 11am – 2pm. Entrance fee is £1 and there’ll be a BBQ, crafts, plants, raffle, pizza, cakes, tombola and of course… jams.
Go along and join them at 55 Torphin Road, Colinton, EH13 0PQ.

Norman, Nicola and I are in a team called WTF (Where’s The Finish?) and running in the Bannockburn 10k this Sunday 19 June. Wish me luck – I might need it and will definitively be looking for the finish line as I’ve only done one training run which was on Saturday with Nic. I haven’t run (apart from a bus) since the 12k obstacle Men’s Health Challenge last year. Nic and I ran just under 5 mile and I managed it – we chatted all the way which is always good to take your mind off the ‘will I make it to the end’? thinking!

Talking of challenges – no pressure honest, we’re not about to do handstands in class. It was just coz the wall was there and I thought… hmm, give it a try

Complementary Fitness Summer Lunch:
If you’d like to come to our summer lunch to Las Iguanas, George St, please let me know which date suits you best and we’ll book up with the majority of numbers. It’ll be either Friday 24 or Monday 27 June and so far, there are slightly more names for Fri 24/6 but that could change so let me know for them by email or put your name on list in class, thanks. I’d like to get booked up this week and then we can look forward to going. Oh and … if it’s the Friday, I’d book for 1pm which would give us time to come to Fitness Yoga 9.30-10.30, get home, shower and change etc and still have time to get to the West End.
If the Monday, we can go at any time – 12.30 so that anyone needing to get back for school pick up, would have time to get back. I look forward to hearing from you and to our lunch.
