Did you know?
That you can get some healthy recipe ideas from the Food Hospital website at So, do you like Channel 4’s Food Hospital?
I think it’s so interesting/fascinating. With all the different symptoms that people visit the Food Hospital for, they’re all helped by eating a healthy, well balanced diet including lots of vegetables. I particularly liked the section on eating more beetroot and watercress to help with your fitness and energy levels.

Something to think about
Exercise teaches the body a new metabolism – so get up and move your body; start burning some calories

It’s one of those things people say. You can’t move on until you let go of the past. Letting go is the easy part, it’s the moving on that’s painful. So sometimes we fight it, trying to keep things the same. Things can’t stay the same though. At some point you just have to let it go. Move on. Because no matter how painful it is, it’s the only way we grow.”
— Meredith Grey

Hardship, in forcing us to exercise greater patience and forbearance in daily life, actually makes us stronger and more robust. From the daily experience of hardship comes a greater capacity to accept difficulties without losing our sense of inner calm. Of course, I do not advocate seeking out hardship as a way of life, but merely wish to suggest that, if you relate to it constructively, it can bring greater inner strength and fortitude – Dalai Lama

***I am qualified to teach Freestyle Fitness Yoga (FFY) and did teach a class on a Tuesday evening in Colinton Mains for a while – I’m thinking of teaching this style of class again in Dreghorn Loan Hall – possibly changing one of the Fitness Pilates classes on a Thursday to FFY. Can you let me know if you’d be interested and what your thoughts are. I could either make the 7pm or 8pm class the FFY class and keep the other Fitness Pilates – or vice versa. Would you like to improve your flexibility, balance and strength and try a new style of class? I don’t want to lose anyone from either the 7or 8pm Fitness Pilates classes but wonder if there might be more interest/more people attending FFY – please let me know and ask your friends, neighbours etc if they’d like to attend too – thanks. Not definite, just a thought depending on interest***

Please give me feedback on your progress in the classes, what you like/dislike (about anything relating to me/my classes, anything relevant) and keep me updated on your health and lifestyle, thanks.
