We love the Fringe and try to go to as many shows as we can … sometimes, we go to loads of shows and then other times, it’s just one or 2 but usually ones that are recommended to us and usually either music or dance.
We love drums and I see that there are Korean and Japanese drumming shows – oh I need to get booked up, soon. Great if you can get 2 for 1 tickets or go to the Half Price Tent too, especially if you want to see quite a few shows!

Bicard of soda, vinegar and lemon juice are some of the things that are useful for cleaning in the house and if you ‘make’ your own, you can save a fortune – and the planet. You can also use organic coconut oil as a body moisturiser too.

Diary Date: Edinburgh’s Vegan Festival is on over the weekend of 20 + 21 August in 38 Charlotte Square. Unfortunately, I/we can’t go this year as we’re away but we did go last year and it was busy but really worth going. Details at

I love Mind Body Green (website and Facebook pages) and haven’t been ‘on’ for a while but there are so many interesting articles on their website. Have a look – you could search for an article about which ingredients you shouldn’t be in protein powders about what shouldn’t be in protein powders or have a look at which ‘healthy’ foods could be causing inflammation.

I’m sure that you’ll be watching the Rio 2016 Opening Ceremony and the events which are on from 5-21 August.
