Parking for Dreghorn Loan Hall classes in November
Week 4, hopefully it’s the last week of “no parking” notices on Dreghorn Loan, Redford Drive and Thorburn Road, yeeesss, woo hoo, back to normal next week. The last couple of weeks, we have managed to get a space in Westgarth Avenue and walked round though.
Did you know that…
Its just 2 weeks today till our Fitness Lunch at Bisque Brasserie, Bruntsfield Hotel on Monday 7 December at 1 o’clock. Most people have given me their money and their course choices but if you haven’t so far, please let me know and pay your £19.50 by this Fri 27 Nov, thanks. This Friday, I will email the hotel, give them all our choices and pay 21 x £19.5O to secure our booking. Most other restaurants and hotels take Xmas lunch and dinner £ in advance.
As you know, we have our fitness lunch a couple of times a year and its open to everyone who regularly participates in our current classes.
Something to think about:
Appreciation – I really appreciate everyone in our lovely, friendly classes.
I appreciate all of our regulars who have been coming to and working out in our classes for weeks, months, years and in fact, many years.
I appreciate and love when new people join us and love welcoming them to our community classes.
I also appreciate when they return week after week to become a valued part of our Complementary Fitness Team.
I appreciate and love all the laughs that we have, especially when I laugh at myself and realise that Ive forgotten, or suddenly remember to do X exercise that we did on our right side then remember (well, hopefully remember to, even when its 5 or 1O mins later) to do the same on the left!!
I appreciate that a lot of you are still with me, still working out in our classes after all these years in Colinton and Craiglockhart. What a team!! Well done to you all.
Pilates or Yoga by Candlelight classes are Tue 1 + 8 and Thurs 3 + 10 December classes. So bring your tea lights, holders and about 15 or 20 minutes before the end of the classes, we will light our candles, put the lights off, stretch, unwind, relax, chill out and breathe away all stress and tension. Bring a jumper or shawl to keep yourself snug and cozy too.

Wed 9 Dec Colinton Village Events are holding a Christmas on the Corner evening from 6.3Opm to 9.3Opm mostly in The Swing Café. There will be music, mulled wine, hot cider, food and live reindeer.
