Our Autumn classes start back last week so come and join our classes each week and make a difference to your fitness, core strength, posture and flexibility and if you commit to working out with us, it’ll go a long way to achieving your fitness goals.

Another very interesting article by Dr Mercola about exercise and prevention of cancer and dementia. Click on the link below (or copy & paste to browser) to read more but the ‘story at a glance’ says: Women with a history of exercising 1.3 hours per week during their teen years had a 16% lower risk of dying from cancer, and a 15% lower all-cause mortality risk.
Earlier research found that strenuous activity at age 12 was associated with a reduced risk for breast cancer during pre- and post-menopause.
Exercise is also potent preventive medicine in the fight against dementia. People who had greater cardiorespiratory fitness in their teens and 20’s scored better on cognitive tests in their mid-40’s and 50’s
