Did you know that…
our Fitness Lunch at Bisque Brasserie, Bruntsfield Hotel is next Monday 7 December at 1 o’clock. I’ve given the restaurant our course choices and paid £19.5O for 21 of us and I’m really looking forward to our lunch and seeing you then. We also have £10 to put towards a tip.
Magnesium is one of the essential minerals and it contributes to a reduction in tiredness and fatigue and that it also plays a role in the process of cell division. It contributes to electrolyte balance, normal muscle function, normal protein synthesis and normal psychological function. Magnesium also contributes to the maintenance of normal teeth and bones. You might like to add magnesium flakes to a bath as its been said to help with muscle aches, joint pain relief, improving circulation and helps to relax. Add a cup of Epsom salts or magnesium flakes to a warm bath and relax. You can also add a few drops of essential oil to the salts too, eg lavender which is also relaxing and has a lovely aroma too. I like Better You Magnesium Flakes which you can buy in Holland & Barrett or Real Foods and other health shops.

I hope that you’ll join us in as many of our classes as you can this week and next. Just to remind you that we finish up on Fri 11 Dec and we start back on Tue 5 January. We’ve got our evening Pilates/Yoga by Candlelight Classes (details below), our Fitness Salsa classes and Fitness yoga too so plenty of variety and opportunity to get yourself fit for the upcoming festive party season. We can also work off our festive lunch too in advance next week!

Pilates or Yoga by Candlelight classes are Tue 1 + 8 and Thurs 3 + 10 December classes. Please bring your tea lights, holders/small jam jar or glass jar with you. We’ll light our candles, put the lights off, stretch, unwind and relax for 15 or 20 mins at the end of the classes. Bring a jumper or shawl to keep yourself snug and cozy too. It doesn’t take long to warm up but equally, it doesn’t take long to cool down either.
I know it’s early days but just to remind that in January, everyone’s are thinking about New Year Resolutions, getting themselves fit again, trying to shed some Christmas weight that they may have put on, get themselves moving and exercising again. So let me know in advance if you’d like me to add your name to our January Tue & Thurs evening Fitness Pilates or Thurs Fitness Yoga classes. You can pay £29 for a block of 6 classes to secure your place and remember that there is also the option to PAYG or pay for all classes in a month at £45 which works out cheaper if you can make at least 2 or 3 classes in a month. By the way, there are 20 classes in January so that would work out at £2.25 per class if you can make all classes! Now there’s a challenge!
It’s World Aids Day on 1 December (more info at http://www.worldaidsday.org/) but just to let you know that Positive Help will be offering a gift wrapping service at St James Shopping Centre on 1 Dec to raise awareness for World Aids Day
