that you’re welcome and encouraged to go along and take part in a FREE Urban Gym Workout this Saturday morning (4 Jan) at 9am which is led by Nicola Cockburn.
Go along to Stay Central Hotel, (in the courtyard of the Three Sisters Hotel), Cowgate.
Work off any festive excesses and get yourself fit in this free outdoor workout.
Norman and I took part in this workout the last 2 Saturdays and thoroughly enjoyed them. We started off in the courtyard warming up, stretching off then ran/walked to the Meadows (not that far honestly) then did some outdoor exercises ie lunges, squats, side gallops, standing ab work etc – great.
Nicola gets paid for these sessions by the hotel but anyone can go along (men and women) and take part for free.

Creamy Raw Hemp Coriander Dressing:
This dressing is great over a green salad, over noodles or as a dip for veggies.
It has a fresh vibrant colour and is full of nutrients and is vegan, raw, low GI and paleo friendly.
Ingredients: ½ cup hemp seeds, 2 cups courgette peeled & cubed, 1-2 cloves garlic crushed, 1 handful fresh coriander, 1 handful fresh dill, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 lemon juiced, pinch of pink Himalayan salt to taste. Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy.
