Did you know that…
When I’m in Real Foods, I often pick up a copy of the free Your Healthy Living magazine which has great ideas, recipes, tips etc. Just thought you’d like know that they have a website and a great recipes page for making/baking free-from, veggie, vegan, recipes for kids, raw, breakfast ideas, Christmas recipes, Paleo, protein boosting, immune boosting recipes and more. On Tuesday evening and Friday morning last week, 5 minutes before the end of both classes, Mary or Calum came in from Queen Margaret Uni and handed out leaflets about Bioforce Menosan herbal preparation for menopause – I put info/details in our 29 Aug Fitness Newsletter. Just to let you know that Calum gave me some of the info sheets if you’d like any from me and if not for yourself, maybe you know of someone else who might benefit from trying Menosan.

I try to ‘mix up’ our classes with various exercises, sequences, challenges and options and keep our workouts moving in various directions. I especially love the exercises or stretches done in the Transverse plane when we mostly do a lot of rotational movements. There are another 2 planes of movement which are Sagital (flexion and extension so all movements forward and back) and Frontal which has movements of adduction (movements towards the midline of the body) and abduction (movements away from the midline of the body which are lateral side-side movements).
So, our bodies move in 3 dimensions and our workouts incorporate the 3D planes of movement.

It was so lovely to welcome another couple of ‘new people’ to our classes last week – so a big WELCOME to ‘brand new & recently new people’ – keep coming to our classes, working out with us and then becoming one of our ‘regulars’.
Btw I love that our regulars continue to work out with us too – it wouldn’t be the same without you.
