Did you know that…
All the proceeds in Nicola’s Insanity class this Thursday 28 May are going to Macmillan Cancer Research. Suggested donations £4 (£4+) for participating in this amazing, awesome class. Nicola has asked me to be the modifier so I’ll be demonstrating and doing all the easier options. Please come and support Nicola and Macmillan Cancer Research on Thursday at 6.30pm Dreghorn Loan Hall, thanks. A strong core has lots of benefits although helping you to look and feel good, is one of them. A strong core is active in nearly every move that your body makes and when it’s strong, it helps you move faster, have better balance and protects your back. We do a lot of core strengthening exercises for your abs and back in all our classes. Remember last week I posted a video of back strengthening exercises? Go back and have a look at it and the other videos and do them at home and with us in class/es this week. Having a strong back and abs help stabilize the spine and support your trunk in all the movements that we make.
That’s I’m also a Complementary Therapist and if you’d like to book a Swedish or Remedial and Sports Massage, a Reflexology treatment or Thermo-auricular therapy (Hopi candle treatment) with me at my home, please let me know.

We’re almost into June and we’ll have to think about our Summer Fitness Lunch. Let’s have a think about where and when in June and get back to me. Do we go in to town? Maybe somewhere like Café Andaluz?
I think we tried to book there last June but the last week in June was really busy with teachers celebrating the end of school term (quite right). So maybe Friday 19 June? If so, that’s 3 weeks on Friday!!

Mondays 6.30pm Metafit 30 minute Express Workout only £3 in Colinton Mains Community Centr, Firrhill Loan.
A great achievable class with lots of options, great fun too.
Wednesday 6.30pm: Express Combat Workout – Colinton Mains Community Centre. Class only £3.
Thursday 6.30pm HIIT (high intensity interval training Insanity class) Fun Fitness Fundraiser in Dreghorn Loan Hall, suggested donations £4. Please give all you can to this charity.
Nicola will teach and demonstrate the exercises and I’ll be doing and demonstrating the easier options/modifications. So in Thursday’s class, you can do a variety of ‘all out’ timed options and/or take the easier options, do what you can, enjoy. You’ll get a great workout, speed up your metabolism and know that the money raised will go to a great worthy charity. Bring your mat and water, wear trainers and improve your fitness, strength and endurance.
