We could maybe add the odd class in now and again?

Something to think about:
If you’d like to buy more organic fruit and veg but find it’s not possible/easy, it would still be good to know which foods contain the least amount of pesticides. Each year, the Environmental Working Group (EWG) publishes a list of the most and least pesticide contaminated fruits and veg. The baddies make it in to the Dirty Dozen list while the goodies are on the Clean 15 list. The list has just been published for this year and apples come out the worse in the Dirty Dozen list followed by peaches, nectarines, strawberries, grapes and celery.
At the top of the Clean 15 list were avocados followed by sweet corn, pineapple and cabbage. You can visit – a pop up message will ask you if you want to sign up to be sent a PDF list by email or you can click continue to the lists to see which fruit and veg is on either list.
Here’s another link to view the lists then scroll down on the page further to find out more.
Good to know that avocados are on the Clean Fifteen list as I use them a lot in salads, guacamole and raw cacao mousses (recipe below)

When I have avocados and want to make a dessert or have something sweet, I made a cacao mousse which is sort of like a traditional chocolate mousse but I think sooooo much nicer and more nutritious. I blended together the following ingredients in a small-ish blender. Once made, you can add or top it off with some blueberries or desiccated coconut, seeds etc. The choice is yours, just try it out though.
Ingredients for my Avo Cacao Mousse:
1 ripe avocado cut into pieces, 1 sliced ripe banana, 2 Medjool dates cut into 1/4s,
1 tablespoon cacao powder, 1 tablespoon raw /Manuka honey.
Avo Cacao Mousse classes:
