Sweet Potato, Harissa and Kale Hash with Tahini-Lemon-Ginger Drizzle

I came across this while on Louise Hay’s FB page and liked it so thought I’d share it with you here: ‘Today, I shoot for the moon. If I miss, I will still be among the stars’. Apparently, the quote came from a Bette Davis movie called ‘Now Voyager’. Good Quote, I like it.

Something to think about:
When making changes to your fitness, health and lifestyle, take it step by step. It might be helpful to keep a notebook and write down your intentions, focus on them, get them done, put a big tick or star beside them and congratulate yourself.

Focus on your triumphs and victories and celebrate them. You’ve come a long way. Stay on track, stay positive, focussed and keep going, keep exercising and improving all the time.

Also, when you set goals, remember that you can still make adjustments. If you didn’t eat your 5-a-day (or more) today, ensure that you do tomorrow. If you didn’t get to your usual class last week because of other commitments, commit to attending 1 or 2 this week and maybe try a new class too (try Express Combat or Metafit, see below, you’ll love them). classes:
Mondays 6.30pm Metafit 30 minute Express Workout only £3 in Colinton Mains Community Centre (Firrhill Loan). A great achievable class with lots of options, great fun too.

Wednesday 6.30pm: Express Combat Workout – Colinton Mains Community Centre. Class only £3. We went to the new class last week and totally LOVED IT, it was amazing, I love all Nicola’s classes but loved all the jabs, uppercuts and some shuffles. You’ll love it too. A popular class, book your place 1st.

Thursday 6.30pm HIIT (high intensity interval training Insanity class) in Dreghorn Loan Hall, class £4.
Nicola demonstrates modifications/easier options in all her classes so they’re for everyone. Bring your mat and water, wear trainers and improve your fitness, strength and endurance.
