Did you know that…
This Wednesday and next, we’re changing the class to a Circuit Training Workout (as requested) and instead of working in pairs or 3s, we’ll be working as a group doing our various exercises that would make up a Circuit. Please still bring your mat, weights and resistance band though as well as your water. I hope you’re up for the challenge and I look forward to seeing you and working out with you – and in all our classes this week/next.

I’ve been working on and putting together music and moves for our brand new 6.35pm CORE COMBAT class which starts on Thursday 3 September in Dreghorn Loan Hall. I love Combat and am sure that you will too.
We’ll be working from and constantly returning to our core in this workout.
You’ll learn how to jab, do upper cuts, hooks as we shift our weight side-side or forward + back.
We’ll shuffle to the side then add in more punches ie those jabs etc. We’ll learn about the forward and back kicks and in the first few classes, we’ll learn about technique, how to punch and protect and always work from our core to stay strong. I’m really looking forward to it. Music (as in all our classes) always helps too and you can work off any stress and frustration in this class, enjoy learning new moves, enjoy keeping yourself fit and strong.
It’ll be a 45 min workout (the previous class leave by 6.30pm) which gives us time to also work on our core abs at the end of the combat section. The class will be £5 pay-as-you-go.
A new 6 week block of our Fitness Pilates class starts back that evening too at 7.30pm so please book/sign up for that to ensure your place. £30 for the block ensures your place (as in the Tue class) or its still £5 payg.

Core Combat 6.35pm class



Balance can sometimes deteriorate as we get older so in our classes and workouts, lets focus, breathe and contract our core (back and abs) muscles to help.

Our Summer classes finish up on Friday 21 August and re-start on Tuesday 1 September.
