Complementary Fitness 28 June Newsletter

We’re now into the school holidays but just to let you know that we’re not taking a break and that ALL CLASSES ARE STILL ON.

The news for this week’s Wednesday & Friday morning classes, now that we’re into the school holidays, is that they’re at 9am on Wed 30 June & Fri 2 July.

Sorry I forgot to mention that during or at the end of classes last week.

I hope the earlier start is ok for you.  Please set a reminder, get up & organised earlier and be ready to start at 9am on Wed & Fri mornings this week.

By the way, apart from this week’s 9am classes, there are 2 more weeks of classes at the earlier time of 9am on a Wed & Fri morning and they are: Wed 14 July, Fri 16 July and Wed 11 Aug & Fri 13 August.  Please also put these dates in your diary/calender, thanks.

I hope that you can make it to as many classes as you can and it’d be great to see you.

If you are on holiday this week/next, enjoy.  I hope that you have lovely sunshine, that you relax & feel recharged and ready for more fitness and fun on your return.

We love talking about the weather don’t we?  Well just to say that last Tuesday was glorious.

We were outside at Paties Road and it was great to exercise in the sun and also to stretch and relax and feel the warmth of the sun on our skin – vitamin D tick.

Even when the weather is lovely & sunny or otherwise ie a bit of rain, then Thistle Padel Court is ideal for our morning classes where we can stay cool and dry.

It was such a shame about last Thursday’s rain!  It had been nice and dry during the day and when I saw the forecast, and when it started to rain, I considered cancelling the class as I could see that there was a high probability of rain at 6 and 7pm.  And there was!

However, I didn’t cancel coz 2 people said they’d still come and after emailing to say the class was still on, I wondered if anyone else would join us.

So I went, Louise & Rory arrived and we did a 50 min class under the trees for a bit of shelter from the rain.  Like true professionals (aka mad people), we did it with just the 3 of us, we caught up (ie we chatted more) and it was good fun.  Well done L&R.

Did you know that Wimbledon Championships start today until 11 July, enjoy the tennis, Pimms & strawberries.

Then there’s National BBQ week which starts on 2 July.  I didn’t know about bbq week either but let’s hope for lots of sun for both events and that we can dust off the bbq and enjoy the great outdoors again.

I can’t wait to see you this week for more fitness, strength, flexibility, fun and sun in our outdoor classes at the Padel Court & Paties Rd Recreation Grounds.

As you know, when/if the weather’s not great for outdoor/outdoor Paties Rd Rec Grounds classes, then instead, I can record a Tue/Thurs class & send it to you.

Let’s keep everything crossed & put out positive vibes for more dry, sunny, warm outdoor classes this week and from now on.

Here are the class details but remember 9am on Wed & Fri and usual 6.15pm Tue & Thurs.

TUESDAYS  FITNESS PILATES  

&

THURSDAY  FITNESS PILATES/YOGA

and

9am classes at THISTLE PADEL COURT

WEDNESDAYS  CORE, RESISTANCE + FITNESS

&

FRIDAY  FREESTYLE FITNESS YOGA

Classes £5 each & you can pay by bank transfer (I can give you my bank details), by card machine when you come to the class or cash.
