I was very excited by a comment I got last week and wanted to share it with you here (I also shared it as an Instagram post on Fri):

“I feel so much stronger, I’m able to do more, lift heavier weights and I can now see muscle definition in my arms, abs and legs, yay”.

I’m sure that you’ll all know that it takes

  • Commitment
  • Showing up (I know sometimes we don’t feel like it)
  • Determination
  • Sticking to the plan and
  • Discipline

 

To get results, whether it’s improved strength, fitness levels and endurance, flexibility, balance, co-ordination and in this case: muscle definition.

Just to let you know that Holyrood Art Club are having their Annual Exhibition Thurs 31 March – Wed 6 April in Greyfriars Kirk, Greyfriars Place.

Admission is free and times are: 11am-5.45pm daily & 2pm-5.45pm Sunday 6 April and closes 4.30pm on Wed 6 April.  Jennifer (Fri fitness yoga class) is one of their very talented artists and she wanted me to let you know about the exhibition.  Go along and check it out.

 

Oh and if you have any news, anything you’d like to share ie whether it’s local news, ideas, class comments, recipes etc, let me know and I’ll let everyone know.  I’m always on the hunt for things to add into our weekly newsletter.

 

I’m looking forward to the clocks going forward this weekend and to lighter nights.  Its been light until around 6.40ish so should still be light when we go to our Tuesday & Thursday evening classes next week onwards – yay.  Bring on Spring and the sunshine.

 

I asked if you want to try booking a class through my Complementary Fitness Facebook page and some of you have found it easy and successful while others are having problems and for some reason, when trying to book a class, the message says ‘unavailable’!!  grrrr!

Sooo annoying and I’m not sure why this has happened but sending apologies if this happened to you.

 

As I said the other week, technology!  But, technology is only good when it works.

I’ll ask my tech/web guy to look into it and get it fixed.

However, always remember that you can email me for a space in any class and/or just turn up, there’ll be space for you.

We’re never 100% full with no spaces left.

 

Just a short newsletter this week but as always, I look forward to seeing you this week and working out together.

 

Please still wear a face covering when entering & leaving the church halls and please think about doing lateral flow tests before classes, thanks.
