Yay, our classes are back this week from Tue 16 May onwards and I look forward to seeing you in all.

Did you do any ‘homework’ ie squats, lunges, a wee workout or two last week?


If you didn’t know, we were away in Club La Santa, Lanzarote for 10 nights.

As always, the weather, classes, instructors, accommodation, food and restaurant choices are all amazing.

It’s a 4½ hour flight and I usually pass the time listening to podcasts through my ear buds (as you do).  We get picked up at the airport and transferred to the resort (1/2 an hour away although we usually organise and do a 30 min quick Lidl shop in Arricife en route).


I’ve come back with new ideas and can’t wait to share them with you this week.


We were lucky that a couple who come to our Thursday class were at CLS at the same time we were.  It was great to see them, catch up more and do some classes together.


I tried some different classes and loved some more other ie loved Body Balance, Body Combat, Zumba, kettlebell training (that was tough and my triceps were achy for days afterwards), hatha yoga, yoga flow, Pilates, stretch & relax, body toning.

Good to try but more hip hoppy than I thought: Sh’bam and Dance.


I also did a couple of lengths in one of the 50 metre pools (there are 3 x 50m pools), not much and I can swim but for me, I prefer classes.


We also paid for a week’s pass at the spa which was relaxing.

As you’ll know, I don’t ‘do the cold’ but … a couple of times, dipped whole body into the cold plunge pool which I was told was minus 0.5 degrees so an achievement for me.


Anyway, enough about me.  What about you?  What have you been up to since I last saw you.


Easiest and best way that you can pay for classes:

  • With cash ie £6 per class (always best and I have change)
  • Directly into my bank account (if you don’t have my details, email me and I can give you my sort code & business account number).
  • Alternatively, using my SumUp card machine.
