HOME                                                               ABOUT SUSAN

I was born and live in Edinburgh and live with my husband and have a grown up family.   I qualified as a Fitness and Exercise teacher in January 1991.   I gained a Fitness Pilates qualification in 2005 and in September '06, I qualified as a Freestyle Fitness Yoga Instructor.  As a Fitness Professional, I regularly attend workshops and courses - the latest  was a 3 day Level 3 Fitness Pilates Training Course.  By attending annual courses and regular workshops, I keep myself up to date with the latest exercises, research, ideas and new information so that I can then deliver these to you.

I'm also currently studying a Level 3 Nutrition and Weight Management Course and once qualified, will be able to give nutrition and weight management advice to participants/clients and small weight loss and lifestyle groups in the community and offices.  My ongoing Level 3 Fitness Pilates certificated training course starting in January 2010 and I hope to complete it by spring/summer.

I enjoy teaching a variety of different styles of fitness classes ie Fitness Pilates,  Low Impact Aerobic Workouts, Fitness Salsa, Circuit Training Bootcamps and Resistance Band and hand held weights Body Conditioning workouts. In offering a wide variety of choices and pathways to fitness, each style and class is complimentary to your fitness regime.  My intention is that everyone can find a style of class that appeals to them as a means of improving their health and fitness.  I enjoy teaching all my classes and the challenge of making up new choreography and seeing class participants become fitter, stronger and more flexible.  Teaching in community halls also means that the classes are fun, friendly and sociable.

Please keep checking the Timetable page for updates and information on all classes, venues, times etc
