As we ‘March’ towards Spring, get/maintain your health and fitness by attending these classes

 

 

Class in Craiglockhart Parish Church Hall, 1 Craiglockhart Drive North

TUESDAYS   Beginner’s/Level 2 Fitness Pilates Class  7.30 pm

The current 6 week block started on Tue 23 February -  there’s still time to book up.

This class is suitable for men and women (not pregnant ladies).  Please email to register for the whole block – cost £36 for 6 weeks (or PAYG £8 per class)

Classes in Dreghorn Loan Church Hall, Colinton

WEDNESDAYS 9.30 – 10.30 am 3D Workout

Our 3D workout class continues.  Bring hand held weights and Resistance Band if you have them.  Pay As You Go class at £5 (65+ pay £4) so join us, enjoy and get fit/maintain your fitness with us.

THURSDAYS   All Level Functional Fitness Pilates Classes 1) 7pm and 2)  8 pm  

Current 6 week Fitness Pilates block starts/started on Thursday 25 February (6 week block £36) so sign up and reserve your place – 7pm class (full) or 8pm (places are still available).  If you register for the 7pm class, aim to arrive at least 5 mins early to pay, sign in and start then finish a couple of mins before 8pm . 

If attending the new 8pm class, you can pay before/after the class.  You can also PAYG at the 8pm class (£8 per class) if you can’t commit to a whole block.

FRIDAYS 9.30 – 10.30 amStrictly Salsa Fitness

Friday 26 Feb starts our Strictly Salsa Fitness dance workout – Wear Red Day for BHF on 26 Feb – see below for more details.

 

British Heart Foundation’s National Wear Red Day on Friday 26 February so wear something red to our Strictly Salsa Fitness class that morning.  Find out how to keep your heart healthy at www.bhf.org.uk   Sally Angus (Fri am class) is also asking class participants to pop in anytime on the Fri 26 Feb 2-4 p.m. or Sat 27 Feb 10-12 a.m.  for a cup of tea at her house and to browse through Phoenix Tradings range of cards, giftwrap, notelets etc.  10% of sales or orders will be donated to the BHF

Tuesday Fitness Pilates Video session update

As part of my ongoing Level 3 Fitness Pilates Training Course, I’ve got someone coming along to video me teaching a 60 minute class on Tue 2 March (and 9 March) then I’ll send off one of the videos along with my Portfolio etc to be marked/evaluated.  Thanks again to everyone for taking part and helping me out.

 

Please remember to keep me updated with your health issues (ie whether your on medication, what it’s for, if you’ve had recent injuries etc).  When you attend your first class, you’re asked you to fill out a Health Screening Form – this is the one to be updated when necessary.  You can ask me for your form, and if you need to add anything, please write any information on the back (these will be kept confidential).
